Window Set Manager (WSM) is a small application that makes it easy to manage your Finder windows. Using WSM, you can easily create "sets" of Finder windows. These sets are kept in your Apple Menu for easy access at any time. For example, if you keep different folders on your hard disk for different projects, WSM allows you to switch tasks and have all your files handy with one easy menu selection.
WSM is shareware with an unlimited free trial period. Unregistered copies of WSM can only save two window sets; once you register, you will be able to save an unlimited number of window sets.
Registration is quick and easy; registered customers get free technical support and free upgrades to future versions of Window Set Manager. See the "How To Register" file for more details.

You may want to create an alias of WSM and place it in your Apple Menu Items folder for easy access.
Important: Make sure you have Apple Menu submenus turned on. You can do this by opening the Apple Menu Options control panel and clicking the "submenus" radio button. This will allow you to see a list of Window Sets in the Apple Menu and pick them easily.

How to use Window Set Manager
・ Creating Window Sets
1. Open the Finder windows that will make up your Window Set. Arrange them as you like on-screen (their positions and sizes will be remembered.) Close any extra windows that you don't want in your Window Set.
2. Launch the Window Set Manager application. WSM will prompt you to name the Window Set:
ハ
3. Name the set and press the Create button. Your Window Set is now saved.
Tip: The suggested set name that WSM chooses is based on the frontmost Finder Window in the set.
Repeat the above steps for each Window Set you wish to create.
・ Using Window Sets
Window Sets are stored in the folder "Window Sets" in the Apple Menu Items folder. This makes the Window Sets accessible from the Apple Menu.
Simply pull down the Apple Menu, open the Window Sets folder (near the bottom of the list) and choose a Window Set (or double-click it from the Finder.) The Window Set will be opened for your use.
ハ
Tip: WSM will open the Window Set in addition to any other Finder windows you have open. But if you hold down the option key while the Window Set opens, WSM will close all Finder windows before opening the Window Set. This is handy if you like an uncluttered desktop.
